Apply to Ekurhuleni East TVET College — practical skills across the East Rand.
Ekurhuleni East is spread over six delivery sites across Springs, Benoni, Brakpan, Daveyton, Kwa-Thema and the Artisan & Skills Development Centre, offering NCV, NATED and artisan-focused programmes. Here's exactly what you need, and how the college's rolling intake system works.

About the college
Serving the East Rand since 2002
Ekurhuleni East TVET College was established in 2002 and has grown into one of Gauteng's leading public technical and vocational education institutions. The college is spread over six geographic areas in the Eastern Region of the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality, often described as sitting across the "Lakeside" and "Southside" of the college's footprint — Springs, Benoni and Brakpan campuses offer Business Studies, with Springs also delivering ICT, Hospitality and Tourism; Daveyton and Kwa-Thema offer Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, with Kwa-Thema also offering Civil Engineering.
The college's sixth delivery site, the Artisan & Skills Development Centre (ASDC), was established in 2016 to support the Department of Higher Education and Training's national artisan development targets under the National Development Plan (Vision 2030). The ASDC focuses purely on Artisan Training and Skills Programmes — including Plumbing, Electrical, General Construction, Carpentry, and Tiling and Flooring — and hosts a Dual System Pilot Project offering a three-year apprenticeship in Electrical and Plumbing.
